Per vendor recommendations a hot fix was made by System Administrators to allow for better memory utilization by the operating system that underlies the database. This fix should prevent a memory bug from occurring that the vendor recognizes as a possible cause for the database node restarts which have been causing sporadic performance issues on all PeopleSoft databases.
Permanent remediation of the issue (swapping out hardware) will be scheduled for the Sunday maintenance window. If the database node restart issue reoccurs this week, permanent remediation will be scheduled and performed as soon as possible.
At this time all UHS PeopleSoft databases and applications are available and performing as expected.
